Introducing the : UltraVue™ 2000 Multifocal Soft Lens

Opti-Centre Laboratories is pleased to officially announce that after five innovative and successful years in the marketplace, the UltraVue™ Generation 1 is stepping aside for its successor, the UltraVue™ 2000 multifocal soft lens. This new product has been available in the North American marketplace since March 1, 2000.

You will note with pleasure that UltraVue™ 2000 multifocal soft lens offers some modifications in regard to its monocular visual acuity. For example, the UltraVue™ D (dominant eye) presents a visual acuity of 20/20 for distance and a periphery vision of 20/30 , for reading. In contrast, the UltraVue™ N (non-dominant eye) obtains a monocular visual acuity of 20/20 for reading and a peripheral vision of 20/30 for distance.

You will also no doubt note and appreciate the more simplified fitting chart, as from now on, you will only have a single modification to do : add +0.25 onto addition to the UltraVue™ D.

Finally, to most adequately respond to your needs, Opti-Centre makes available various powers, which range from -20.00 to +20.00, with additions of from +1.00 to +4.00 (by 0.25). These features are for daily wear (UltraVue™ 2000 regular) or in frequent replacement form (UltraVue™ 2000 4 Cycles) with powers ranging from -8.00 to +8.00 (by 0.25).
