vision disorder

The human eye enjoys clear vision when it is perfectly spherical. Distortions may occur when the eyeball or the cornea is not entirely round. This causes blurred vision.

The most commonly diagnosed problems of vision are usually: astigmatism, myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia. Astigmatism, myopia and hyperopia are hereditary diseases and there is no known way to prevent them. Presbyopia is an anomaly of the vision that is brought on by aging. Again, nothing can be done to prevent it from occurring.

The principal symptoms encountered range from blurred vision to eyestrain to headaches. In most cases, the problems can be corrected by wearing contact lenses or corrective glasses.

If you appear to have any problems whatsoever with your vision, we strongly urge you to consult with a professional in the field.
